HOW TO MAKE APPLE PIE ENCHILADAS

Caramel sauce is sprinkled over Baked Apple Pie Enchiladas, which offer you all the cinnamony flavor of a hot apple pie wrapped snugly inside a tortilla and served with a sprinkling of caramel sauce…

The autumn season is drawing near, and along with it comes the arrival of apple desserts. However, given that those who are coming have a propensity to be quite critical, they will remark things like, “Oh, no!” Not another apple cake, are you sure? I’m going to go ahead and bake that apple dessert anyhow!
Because it is the only kind of fruit that my Son enjoys eating, but this time we are going to make it into something extra wonderful! It needs to be a sweet treat that will delight the taste of both the young and the elderly, something that is conventional and classic, and yet with some juicy addition that will offer apples something distinctive and wow my teenage sisters.
Yes, I’ll definitely be making apple pie enchiladas this time around.

Anyway, if you want to add some cinnamony spice to your life and you have a bowl of fresh apples, some flour tortillas, and you want to make these apple pie enchiladas, then this is the recipe for you.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

A 21-oz can.Of apple pie filling; you can use a prepared Homemade Apple Pie Filling.

Flour tortillas; I used 6 of 8-inches.

1 small spoon.Of ground cinnamon.

1/2 Cup.Of butter – softened.

1/2 Cup.Of white sugar.

1/2 Cup.Of brown sugar.

1/2 Cup.Of water – at room temp.

HOW TO PUT TOGETHER THESE APPLE PIE ENCHILADAS!!

1st Step:

To begin, butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2nd Step:

If you find that rolling the tortillas is difficult for any reason, you may soften them in the microwave at this step.

3rd Step:

Place about one heaping quarter cup of pie filling on each tortilla, slightly off the center of the tortilla, and equally sprinkle with cinnamon.

4th Step:

To make the baked tortillas, roll each tortilla up and set it to seam side down on a baking dish that has been buttered.

5th Step:

Bring the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and water to a boil in a pot that is medium in size.

6th Step:

Reduce the heat, and continue to whisk often while simmering for three minutes.

7th Step:

After pouring the sauce over enchiladas and topping them with more cinnamon if preferred, let the dish rest for another 45 minutes.

8th Step:

Bake in an oven that has been warmed for twenty minutes, or until the top is brown.

9th Step:

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, then drizzle with as much caramel sauce as you want on top.

ENJOY IT GUYS!!!
