COMFORTING CHICKEN & NOODLES CROCK POT

A warm and satisfying meal of chicken and noodles cooked in a slow cooker is sure to become a fan favorite in the household. Using a combination of chicken broth, milk, and other spices, boneless and skinless chicken thighs are prepared for a long cooking process. Just before serving, egg noodles and broccoli are put in the bowl. Food that is both a source of comfort and a full meal on its own.

Finding kid-friendly recipes that are easy to prepare is not the easiest task in the world, and I think we can all agree on that. Children have a reputation for being the most finicky eaters. Crockpot Chicken and Noodles is a meal that can be made in a slow cooker and has all of the tastes that children desire while still having the ease that parents want.

This recipe is both tasty and filling, so give it a try. Your children are going to beg you for this dish’s recipe over and over again! It is the kind of food that brings back fond memories for the entire family.

THE INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
  • Boneless skinless chicken thighs; I used 750 grams.
  • 1½ Cup.Of chicken broth.
  • ½ Cup.Of 1% milk.
  • Chicken bouillon; I used 3 cubes.
  • 1 small spoon.Of dry minced onion.
  • ½ small spoon.Of garlic powder.
  • ½ small spoon.Of salt.
  • ¼ small spoon.Of black pepper.
  • ½ Cup.Of potato flakes.
  • Egg noodles; I used 8-oz cooked.
  • 2 Cups.Of steamed broccoli florets.
PREPARATION:
  • 1st Step – Combine the chicken broth, milk, chicken bouillon, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl that is suitable to be heated in the microwave.

 

  • 2nd Step – After heating for three to four minutes in the microwave, mix the chicken bouillon with a whisk.

 

  • 3rd Step – Put chicken thighs into the slow cooker to cook. After that, drizzle some of the sauce on top. Cover, and cook on high for medium heat for between two and three hours.

 

  • 4th Step – After the chicken is done, shred it or cut it up into little pieces. If you would like the sauce to be thicker, you may thicken it by whisking in a half cup of potato flakes into the liquid that is in the slow cooker.

 

  • 5th Step – To finish, add egg noodles that have already been cooked and broccoli that has been steamed.
