BAKED RIBS RECIPE

HOW TO MAKE BAKED RIBS RECIPE

Nearly everyone who has sampled them has declared them the “greatest ribs ever.” The following is a step-by-step guide to the ideal recipe that I picked up from my mother. I guarantee you won’t be able to stop licking your fingers. When you bake ribs in the oven, they become extraordinarily soft and flavorful, almost to the point where they slip off the bone. Every single time, it’s perfect.

These Oven-Baked Ribs are so soft that they almost slide off the bone, they are bursting with incredible flavor, and the preparation time is just five minutes! Baby back ribs are used, and a homemade dry rub and BBQ sauce are used to make them.

These Oven Baked Ribs start with a handmade spice rub and then are roasted in tin foil at a low temperature for a long period of time to create an amazing taste and a soft texture. They are finished with a few minutes under the broiler at high heat and a generous amount of barbecue sauce, which together provide even more moisture and create the ideal crispy exterior. The result is soft, juicy, outrageously delicious baby backs that will have the whole family returning for seconds.

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

3 lbs.Of baby back ribs.

Sliced onion: I used 2 large-sized.

Sliced garlic; I used 4 cloves.

THE RIB RUB SEASONINGS:

1 Tbsp.Of smoked paprika.

1 Tbsp.Of brown sugar.

¾ Tsp.Of garlic powder.

¾ Tsp.Of onion powder.

½ Tsp.Of black pepper.

½ Tsp.Of lemon pepper

½ Tsp.Of salt or to taste.

THE BBQ SAUCE INGREDIENTS:

½ Cup.Of BBQ Sauce.

½ Cup.Of chili sauce.

¼ Cup.Of ketchup.

PREPARATION:

1st Step:

Prepare the oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. If using, mix together the ingredients for the rib rub.

2nd Step:

To prepare the ribs for cooking, peel back the white membrane that covers the rear of the rib cage (the side with less meat). It should be easy to do.

3rd Step:

Dry the ribs well and inspect them for any small bone fragments or shards. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, or pour a good amount of the rub over them and press it into the meat using your hands.

4th Step:

Put the meaty side of the ribs down on a tray that has been coated with foil. Cover the ribs with chopped onion and garlic. Use a second sheet of foil to cover and then seal the container.

5th Step:

Cooking time for ribs is two hours. If you want to test how delicate the ribs are, open a sealed corner of the foil and remove a little piece. If this is not the case, continue baking for another 20 to 30 minutes before checking again.

6th Step:

In the meanwhile, mix all of the ingredients for the barbecue rib sauce. Remove the ribs and toss the juices, onions, and garlic. Brush olive oil on the ribs and use a lot of BBQ sauce.

7th Step:

Over medium-high heat, broil or grill for 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until blackened.
